Ransom Note Received for Pres. Sam's Gavel

It is a tradition in Tunkhannock Rotary to gavel-nap the current President's gavel and hold it for ransom.  Although Pres. Samantha tried very hard to protect her gavel, it disappeared at a recent Rotary meeting.  At the Apr 26 Rotary Luncheon, Pres. Sam was presented with a ransom note for her gavel (proceeds to go to the Rotary Foundation) and a substitute "gavel".
