Jeanne Moran, author of the historical fiction novel “Risking Exposure” spoke at the Apr 2 Tunkhannock Rotary Club Luncheon at Purkey’s Pink Apple. Jeanne explained the research she did to write her novel set in 1938 Nazi Germany. In 1939, the Nazis started their pogrom against disabled individuals in their general population. Thus, the main character in her novel is a young girl in the Hitler Youth, who has a passion for photography, but who contracts polio and becomes disabled.
