Kike Caro Paredes our inbound Exchange Student from Peru gave his end of exchange presentation at the Nov 21 Rotary Luncheon. Kike will be returning to Peru at the end of Dec.
He provided an overview of Peru, its foods, his family and his time in the US including his very long and traumatic 2 day trip to actually get to Tunkhannock. He got the opportunity to visit a lot of US cities and experienced a lot of firsts: first flight, snow, roller coaster ride, American football game and American Thanksgiving dinner.
After his presentation, Pres. Sandy presented Kike with a club banner and book on the state of PA signed by many of the club members.
