At the Nov 29 Rotary Luncheon, Pres. Mike Markovitz, who was also the Chair for Candy Cane Day, presented checks for $1,500 each to Howard Heise from Wyoming County Children and Youth and Mary Foley from Interfaith Friends. The money was collected from generous Tunkhannock shoppers on Black Friday and will be use to buy toys for children in need and foster children for Xmas.
