Our guest speaker at the Aug 13 Rotary Luncheon at Shadowbrook Inn & Resort was Pennsylvania Game Commissioner, Stanley Knick, Jr. Commissioner Knick provided an update on the Game Commission during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The staff worked from home to keep everything going. Wardens, dispatchers and deputies keep working, but with social distancing. Some projects were put on the back burner.
They had to shut down most land management crews, but the Governor allowed them to come back to maintain fields and roads with separate trucks for the staff. Headquarters were reopened only for key personnel.
