During the week of March 19th, Tunkhannock Area High School, through the Interact Club, collected food for CEO (Commission on Economic Opportunity) with their ‘Sack Hunger’ initiative. Every room received a ‘sack’ to be filled with food (canned/dried goods). The class that filled the most sacks was awarded a great breakfast snack on Thursday, March 29.

CEO covers three counties and they report that 76,160 people face hunger in our region; 1 in 5 children are at risk. Congratulations to Interact and the TAHS students for making a difference in our community.
