On May 10, the 34th Annual Rotary Relays Invitational Event for high school juniors was held at Tunkhannock Memorial Stadium with PIAA officials overseeing the relay events. The overall boys winners were from Wyoming Area with Tunkhannock coming in third. The overall girls winners were from Hazleton with the Tunkhannock girls coming in 6th. Although the event was delayed by rain, it went off without a hitch and the Rotary volunteers and High School put on a great event. The Junior class ran the concession stand.
Rotary Club President Samantha Maruzzelli thanked all the Rotary volunteers, officials, high school partners and sponsors for their support of the Relays.
The Tunkhannock Tigers won the discus event at the Rotary Relays and came in 3rd overall.
