On July 20, the Tunkhannock Rotary had the pleasure of hosting District 7410 Governor (DG) Karin-Susan Breitlauch at our Rotary Luncheon at Purkey's Pink Apple. DG Karin-Susan shared with the club her vision and goals for her year as DG and many of the activities she has already planned out for this 2017-2018 Rotary year. She announced that our very own Ron Furman will be the new District 7410 Membership Chair. She gave each member a 2017-2018 Rotary Theme pin with the motto Rotary: Making a Difference. She also made a brief appearance at our July 20 Flash meeting at Bogey's later that afternoon to meet some of the members who cannot make our regular lunch time meetings.
President Samantha Maruzzelli presented DG Karin-Susan with a beautiful bouquet of flowers as a thank you for visiting with our club and sharing with us her vision and goals for this Rotary year.
